This is a tea bowl that is called Chawan (tea bowl n Japanese), height 2.8" * width 3.4". It holds 10 oz.
Food safe, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe.
In these series of tea bowls and cups I used a dark clay that called black mountain. Part of outer surface of these bowls left un-glazed to show the color and texture of fired clay without any glaze.
Please be aware that all measurements are approximate and may vary slightly due to human error. All my pottery thrown /hand-built and glazed by me.
I make my ceramics from clay with sand in them, therefore the bottoms are a little rough.
